The manual tilt barrier gate is designed for access control applications where the frequency of use doesn't require an automatic barrier gate or where electricity is not available. The manual tilt gate can be installed with a minimum of equipment. When down and locked it provides a positive restraint to vehicular traffic.
The manual tilt gate is fabricated from heavy steel plate and is electric arc welded to stand rugged use and provide long life. Since the manual tilt gate mechanism and locking saddle both mount on a standard 3.5 inch outside diameter pipe, installation is simple, but sure. A heavy duty all-weather damper insures smooth easily controlled up and down action. The arm is counterbalanced and pivots on precision bronze bushings for long dependable use.
The arm can be padlocked in either the up or down position.
